The 3rd US-China Economic & Trade Cooperation Forum held in Phoenix, Arizona, September 8, 2009 proposed the United States and China to enhance the exchange of its scientific and technological achievements and cultural activities, and the US-China Science Technology & Cultural Cooperation Foundation was then founded on this basis. The foundation is a non-profit organization registered in the United States, and its objective of the organization is to promote and support technology transfer, scientific exchange as well as cultural exchange by granting and investing funds in various related projects.  The members of the foundation mainly consist of Asian American and some European and American scientists, investment companies, scientific institutions and cultural organizations.  The foundation has three subordinating branches including Science & Technology, Finance, and Cultural.
